Dave Amour Band bios:
Nick Cordellos, playing drums since 1968, considered by local musicians to be most steadying, intuitive, and creative in the country.  He was born in San Francisco, played in numerous Bay Area bands, and has studied classical with San Francisco Conservatory of Music, learning percussion from Alex Acuna.  Influences include John Bonham and Buddy Rich.

Dave Amour - Guitar, vocals - was born in St. Louis, but moved to and grew up in Hawthorne, CA at an early age.  He started playing guitar at the age of 16, and has been writing and arranging songs ever since.  He signed with Capital Records in 1968, before heading to Dunsmuir in 1972.  There, as founding member of "Gage", Dave performed extensively until 1984.  In 1984, he returned to Southern California, wowing audiences with his great vocal and guitar styling and fabulous choice of music.  Dave took up guitar building as a sideline, and, 1997, moved back to Northern California.  "I plan to continue to make quality guitars and violins.  My goal is to first have fun while playing music."

Keith Anderson - Amour-crafted 50s P-Bass player (see photo below) - was born in Chicago's South Side - and has been performing since 1959.  He signed with Mercury Record's "Smash" label in 1962; warmed crowds for the Rolling Stones in Chicago, 1963; the Young bloods at New York's Peppermint Lounge, 1968; and Albert King/Janis Joplin at San Francisco's Fillmore, 1969.  One of the original members of the "Illinois Speed Press" and "Gage", Keith has published songs and recorded for Columbia Records.

TESTIMONIAL-AMOUR GUITARS
Ron Lovelace, of the 'Ron Lovelace Band' writes "Dave Amour is a master craftsman and a detailed oriented person. The Telecaster that he built for me is not only a very fine instrument it has become a work of art. Working with him was very easy. This is the first guitar that I have owned that is perfect, just for me, right from the start. Many times I have acquired an instrument that has most of the qualities I wanted but there was always something that I had to change to make it more mine. I'm am a traditional player and this Tele was built to early '50's specs, with a little touch of Mr. Amour's mojo. When it came to winding the pickups for the guitar he also did a fantastic job, these pups have a growl that I have never heard from other name brand manufactured pickups. I consider myself a fortunate person to own a classic, brought to life by Dave."
